Speech rendered by Mr. Nagaraju
ShivaShankar Baba has provided all
facilities – this place is so modern, neat, clean, has
modern equipments, computer facilities, lab facilities.
I am sure Baba will soon be introducing audio-visual,
video-visual accessories for education. This school will
be one of the best schools and everyone outside will be
amazed at how Baba has been able to develop such a
school. Children, you are blessed. And I am also blessed
to be given this honour by Baba. The trick to make a
child learn well is to impart them love and Baba really
knows to love – no wonder that the grass is greener
here. That is why people live in such happiness here.

Navarathri celebrations
Sushil Hari Students participated
with gusto in the Navarthri celebrations. The highlight
of their performance was enacting Karadi Tales, that too
at a very short notice.
The first in the series was "ALL
FREE" where we learnt that miserliness will not take one
anywhere except into despair.
This was followed by "Mazzoo Mazzoo"
which highlighted the hospitality of Indians in line
with our adage " Athithi Devo bhava".
Third in the series was the humorous
"Curly tales". The Grand finale was "Hiss, don't bite".
Every tale was a masterpiece.
Taj mahal, a ballet was a class of it
own. Sushil Hari Students used the western Ballet to
depict the story of the very eastern Taj Mahal. The
fusion of styles was a treat to the Eyes.
Hats off to the Actors
Praying tribute to mother India.
Brindavan with Baba.
Roupini
and Sushmita gave a wonderful dance perform ance
on pournami day..
Lighting up lives
Boys and Girls of the hostel, keeping in line with our
culture, literally lit up our lives with thousands of
lamps on the eve of Karthikai Deepam. This was followed
by a cultural program, which was managed in Toto by the
students themselves.

Christmas day celebrations
Our Good Shepard church wore a
festive look this Christmas. Carols,
dance, music, jingle bells and candles sum up the fun we
had on Christmas Eve. Madhumita and Aaravamudhan read
out Baba's Christmas message and Keerthi of Eight grade
jockeyed the show with elegance and class.
A New year Experience
Students participated in the New Year celebrations with
gusto and aplomb. The manner in which they rendered
their services was a sight to watch. With people coming
in for the New Year from across the globe, interaction
with them was a rewarding experience for the students.
The Evening Cultural Programme by the Students was well
received and was capped off with Gifts from Baba.
Sushil Hari hostel students received
a huge helping of Humour with "Jurasic Baby" a play by
Crazy mohan and troupe. The Students were literally
rolling with laughter. This play was preceded and
followed by two other plays, which were received well.
Students of Sushil Hari, presented
folk songs and dance at the Nungambakkam Cultural
Academy on the 13th December 2003.
This was highlighted by the Hindu on
the 18th Of December under the title
'Reviving a dying tradition".
Tamil folk songs, which is vivacious,
is best experienced at a live performance something that
doesn't happen often in Chennai. Fortunately for the
audience that night, Dr. Santhakumari and her troup (
singers from 'Samratchana', voluntary organisation, and
students from the Sushil Hari International Residential
School, Kelambakkam) brought them a lively slice of
the past.
Looks like our Sushil Hari Folks are
set to go places.

 Sushil
Hari never ceases to amaze. With the variety of dance,
music and drama that is dished out by the students,
every function is a crowd puller.
This New Year brought some very good
performances from the Sushil Hari Students. They danced
to the tune of "Ragupathy Raghava Rajaram", which was
choreographed and performed by the students themselves
with no help from the teachers.
"Mannu Manakkudu"- A program on
Pongal day was filled with folk music and drama which
brought the life in our Villages to the fore.
This was followed by Andal
Tirukalyanam, a dance drama that fed on the life of
Andal and her merger with the almighty. A fabulous piece
of work that was a treat to watch. Truly Sushil Hari
kindles the creative spark in students and lets it burn

 The
cultural events started with a Punjabi dance by the Tiny

was the play fun, but there was a message in it for us
on humility. An impressive Karate demonstration by our
School children was followed by a musical choir on
Bharatiyars songs. Another Impressive event was the
dance by Madhumita and Sushmita, who performed a
classical dance to a western note. The Grand Finale was
a dance on nature. In all, the program was as much
