Eligibility Criteria
Admission to SushiHari
International Residential School is open to all
students. Selection is purely based
on merit, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or
gender.
Admission to SushiHari
International Residential School is highly competitive and is based on student's performance in the
Scholastic Student Search Examination conducted as a part of the admission process for grades 1-9. In addition, student's interest in the school, any prior
co-curricular or extra-curricular achievements are valued.

Process
Step 1: Request for application package
Submit a DD or Banker's cheque for Rs.100 payable to "Sushilhari International School"
drawn on any Nationalized bank in Chennai.

correspondence address for the application package
should be included with the application fee.

Step2: Submit the application package
Submit the following at the Admissions Office in person or mail it to the address mentioned in Step 1.

Photocopy of current grade half-yearly examination marks attested by school authorities

Students who have undergone
private / home schooling should provide adequate
proof thereof
Incomplete applications may be
rejected. Submission of application does not
guarantee admission.
Selection Procedure
Minimum age for admission to
Kindergarten - completion of 3 years as on 30th June.
No tests / assessments made for admission to
Kindergarten. No donation is accepted in any form.
Selection for admission to classes I to IX is
based on an entrance test and interview to assess student aptitude.
Admission is based on performance in the exam and personal interview with the student.
Students are tested in Mathematics and English
at the level of the class passed by the candidate. For admissions to Classes VIII and IX, students are tested in other subjects too. No
special preparation is required. Student's aptitude for
learning is appraised in the examination and interview.

Admissions are purely based on merit.
No donations / recommendations are accepted.
No distinction is made on caste/creed, religion,
gender or any such factor. |

Notification of selection
New student acceptances are notified immediately in most cases to all the applicants.
Selected students will have an option to take a tour of the campus. If you are interested in the
campus tour, please schedule an appointment by calling the admissions office at <044-27474050>. Please check with admission office if you need accommodation in the school campus during your visit.
Students who have accepted admission should respond to the Admissions
Office in writing expressing his/her acceptance to attend SushilHari International Residential School within the date specified in the acceptance package. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the application.
Registration of selected students
Students offered admission to school will be notified on the registration date. All supporting documents listed in the admission packet should be produced during registration.
Admission to the school is contingent upon producing the original documents during the registration. Registration will be followed by payment of tuition and boarding fees. Please check the

Transfer Certificates of prospective students should be
counter signed by designated officer of the Board from
which the student has passed his/her last grade.
Counselling with the parents is an essential
pre-requisite for admission of their wards.
