Tree Planting Time

9/9/09
A total of 1000 trees saplings were
planted in Ramarajya as an ongoing effort
to mitigate the effects of global warming.
Over the last 12 years with projects such
as this spearheaded by Shivashankar
Baba, Ramarajya Campus has been
transformed from a barren land to one with
lush landscapes and gardens interspersed
with waterfalls and fountains. Baba has
always believed in taking concrete steps
to address environmental issues rather
than carrying placards, shouting slogans,
conducting rallies and tying rakhi to trees
at Rashtapathi Bhavan etc.

Book Name - Illusions, Author - Richard Back

- Arjun, R.M. of X
"Your conscience is the
measure of the honesty
of your selfishness.
Listen to it carefully”
“Here is a test to find
whether your mission on earth is finished:
If you’re alive, it isn’t"
These were the two lines of the Book
Illusions which touched me the most when
I read it. The author Richard Bach explains
the way of life and how you are the creator
of your life in the form of a story. In this
book, the author writes about how he met
a messiah (or the chosen one as we may say)
called Donald. He teaches Richard about
how our point of view of life should be and
how to change our perspective.
The book is highly philosophical and
should not be used for light reading.
However, if used correctly, this book can
work miracles in your life and I say this from
my own experience. This book shows us that
our life is controlled by our thought by one
line in the book which says “Everything in
this book may be wrong” indicating that if
we feel it is wrong; then it is wrong and if
we feel it is right, then it
is. A really knowledge
enhancing and spell
binding book, it is a must
read if you want to enjoy
your life fully.
My rating : 4.5 / 5
